I've had dinner and lunch here over a dozen times and I have never had a bad experience! All the ceviches are fresh and delicious. I have tried them all! My favorite is the Pineapple tuna. The entrees and appetizers are served in shareable portions and are very reasonably priced. The Lomo Salteado is a must try. They even have desserts like flan and chocolate lava cake. The decor is eye catching and vibrant. The vibe is intimate but can accommodate large groups as well as couples. The service is wonderful, the staff is very attentive and accommodating. I have always been greeted and welcomed as I walk through the door. The bar has lovely crafted cocktails, beer, wine and traditional Peruvian beverages. Pisco punch is my absolute fav. I haven't had Peruvian food this good since I visited Peru a few years ago! If you're ever in park slope/red hook/gowanus you should really check it out!

If you come here make sure you try the ribs, the shrimp tacos, and the sweet plantains, and wash it down with an Inca Cola. Absolutely delicious. Good service and a great location.

Came here for my baby shower. Everything was delicious. We did the family style 50pp. Service was excellent. Before the event and during the event. Highly recommend this place for party or just for a nice meal.

We came here for a late Valentine's Day lunch. We had the following items along with some complimentary banana, corn chips and salsa. Ceviche Tasting - You can choose 3 different types of ceviche. We got the Hamachi Tiradito, Pineapple Tuna and Ceviche Mixto based on the waitress' recommendation. The ceviche was lowkey underwhelming and the seafood tasted bland. Black Paella - Just WOWWW! It came with an abundance of seafood and can easily feed 2-3 people. The taste was so unique and memorable. This dish is a must try when you visit. Entrana Tacu-Tacu - Skirt steak was very solid and flavorful. Chicha Pisco Sours - This drink was different from any drinks I've tried. I thought it was so interesting because it was made with purple corn. I had two glasses of this and the bartender had extra and even gave the extra to us. Although on the more expensive side, the portions were huge and flavorful (besides the ceviche). The staff was also very attentive and answered all our questions such as what is chicha. I would definitely come back for the incredible food!

Food- DELICIOUS!! Service - OUTSTANDING!! I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. It was a family night out and everything from start to finish was good. We love the menu options and the unique but traditional take on Peruvian options. Oh and that pisco sour was on point! It was sucky rainy early dinner but that made for decent parking in this otherwise non existent area. I'm praying for a blessing of the parking Gods so I can run this place back!!

4.5 stars for me - overall a great place that does exactly what they promise to do well: ceviche. Came here on Saturday night with reservation (recommend) and we split all our dishes: 2 ceviches, grilled prawns, and a special of the night, hot stone skirt steak with a side of maduros. Next time I'd focus on ceviche and steak. Everything else tasty, I just thought those were outstanding. Service was attentive, and restaurant is cute - not overly fancy, we came for "comfortable date" and got that. Lots of 6-8 person groups, too, which is nice. My one nit was few swaps available for allergies -- waitress/manager nixed a lot of the menu, which was disappointing. That said, we ate and enjoyed -- we'll be back!

Came here on a Friday night to catch up with a few friends and the place was rather packed. We were brought to the bar to wait for our seats, but luckily didn't have to wait too long and were seated within 10-15 minutes. We got the ceviche tasting, pulpo anticuchero, black paella, and a whole rotisserie chicken. Ceviche tasting (Ceviche Mixto, Hamachi Tartare, Pineapple Tuna) - I loved that they had the option to try multiple ceviches. The fish was fresh, but could've been better marinated. Some pieces had no flavor. Pulpo anticuchero - Octopus was nice and tender. Black paella - The paella had an ample amount of seafood, which is pretty rare. Rice was very flavorful. The portion is plenty enough to feed 2-3 people Whole rotisserie chicken - This dish was okay. Chicken was well seasoned, but did not like the sauce that it came with. It had an overwhelming mayo flavor. Would not order again. The interior felt pretty casual. There were multiple birthday celebrations during the time that we were there.

We got the jaleita as an appetizer, it was fried shrimp, squid, and fish. Truly the star of the show. Everything tasted so fresh and the dipping sauce was perfectly paired. For entrees we got the corvina (sea bass, shrimp, and rice) and pollada (chicken breast and mashed potatoes). Both tasted great but the chicken could use a little extra seasoning. It relied heavily on the sauce for flavor. Food arrived out quickly but everything still tasted like it was cooked fresh. We made a reservation for 7pm, but there were open tables throughout the night so you might be able to walk in. We sat downstairs so I'm not sure how many tables there are upstairs but I think downstairs is great for couples or groups of no more than 4. Service was very kind and smooth as well. We'll definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, friendly servers and big portions! Sharing is caring here. We split two tapas, an entree and a bottle of wine. Add to that the plantains for the table, which they kindly refilled for us, we had zero room for dessert. The pork tacos were hearty, and the octopus was fantastic -- I would definitely get the octopus again. Presentation was very nice. The pasta was pappardelle, a duck leg ragu with shitake, oysters and portobello and peas. Very good! Definitely something to split and would be amazing as comfort food on a cold day. I'd definitely return if I'm looking for dinner in the area again!
